I lost my faith is a common feeling these days. We do not sell anything here; we offer free encouragement, and this insight may help you specifically. When we encounter difficulties of any kind, and as we try to grow ourselves and put down roots in a community, it is common to seek participation in a religious organization, or get insight from others about our value. This seems like a practical step in the right direction since immersion in a community’s social framework will grow us towards becoming upstanding citizens. Friends can help us see ourselves better, right? It can be a positive step for some, but not for all. That depends on the emotional and therefore spiritual needs of the individual seeking it. Most importantly is the quality of the views outside sources give us as feedback.
If you are feeling hopelessness and having lost your faith, then a lot of bad experiences in sequence have led to that conclusion. If the right kind of emotional needs have led you to a church or friends to have those needs met, you may have been barking up the wrong tree. You may have had poisoning experiences in a church causing you to lose your faith entirely in Humankind, God, and everything. Do not give up yet, we know the reason why church, or others who are poisoners did not provide you with the support you specifically need. Moreover, we can suggest other areas to search in other than religion which can restore your faith in life as well.
Here is our experience in religion that most people do not understand: Religion, and especially Christianity all hate the self, and the self’s needs in you the individual. Their whole foundation is that you are a sinner, a mistake and a failure without them. All religions intentionally place themselves between you and God, so you need them to reach God, completeness, and being right as an individual. Few church organizations are about the completeness of you the searcher, they are about pushing their own importance as an organization. The more you turn to them for biblical answers, the more they demean you as not being a unique beautiful person.
So, you need them more and that is what they want. Almost all church managements want you to need them, not find and expand yourself. They want you to see yourself as a mistake, not seeing yourself as an enthusiastic athlete that likes mountain climbing in Tibet or the Himalayas. They will suppress your search to find your passions to do such so you again, need to go to them for everything and see yourself through their eyes. Religion wants you to need them, not live a free life of being you. That is how most church organizations work, not all, but most. Controlling relationships with poisoning people behave the same way as well.
Put simply, deep spiritual needs may not be met by seeking answers in a religion or in relationships with negative people. That is like going to a desert to find water. Many of our needs are for finding or completing ourselves. We cannot ask a priest in religion or even others necessarily because they do not know you.
The first step is to emotionally and spiritually regroup. Pull back from life and all the confusion and hopelessness the confusion is causing. Let us back off and look at the big picture. Let us see if that perspective from farther away clears our view on things. If you are too close to anything you cannot see it.
When you were born, you came into this world a complete package, everything you needed to become fully you and live an emotionally rich life doing that. You came as a person with a structured life path with all the relationships, experiences and events laid out in an order with a purpose. There were good things because you needed them, and there were bad things and things missing to teach you something about their value and role in your life later when you achieved them.
Life, God, the Loving Mother Universe or whatever else you call the creative force put all this together before the Earth was even created. The concept of you existed before the Earth was even formed, that truth comes from the Christian Bible, and I believe that part. If that is true, then that means you have a purpose and you are a much-needed gift from God to Humankind somewhere.
The reason you lost your faith is because a series of things happened. It could be they happened because you were looking not just in the wrong places for answers, but also because you were looking through the wrong set of eyes as well.
We all have more than one set of eyes through which to see the world. We have a set of physical eyes which perceives things which are fine if you are a reptile, like a crocodile. Above that we have another set of eyes which are spiritual, which were opened by loving parents in our youth. If you did not have loving parents to nurture you growing up or experienced deep emotional trauma early in life, those eyes might have been forced back shut permanently. The eyes I am talking about are opened through our exercising the first of our seven spiritual birthrights.
We all have seven spiritual birthrights we must exercise in fully being who we are as a person. Using these seven birthrights will restore our faith and grow our enthusiasm. All spiritually actualized people do these seven things to complete themselves: We see things through our own eyes (and not someone else’s eyes), feel our own feelings, think our own thoughts, lastly, make our own choices. Beyond that, we then dream our own dreams, work towards those dreams, and lastly share joyously those dreams created by our hard works. The pride we feel when we live our seven-birthright guided lives we have a right to feel. God put that pride within us because He is proud of us.
Just for the record, this is an emotional and spiritual encouragement ministry. We are selling nothing here and are not at the present time even set up to take donations, and probably never will. Your healed life is our reward enough, and we are very pleased with that. If you want to, please share your strength with others in your future so our nurturing can live on.
